Show I Funeral Rites Are Held For Aneliza Phillips Funeral rites were condcted on Thursda.y Dec. 1, for Mrs. Ane-i Ane-i liza J. Philips, who died earlier in j the week at her home. I The service, directed by Bishop I Calvin Walker was held in the 3rd ! ward chapel at 1 o'clock, j Invocation was offered by Ed-! Ed-! ward Jacobs; a violin duet was j played by Misses Barbara Jenspn j and Patricia Anderson, accom-! accom-! panied by Miss Geraldine Thome, j Mrs. Ruby Fugal read a sketch ' of the life of the dead woman, and ! added beautiful & consoling words ; to those left behind, j Other speakers who paid tribute , to the memory oof Mrs. Phillips and offered words of faith and consolation con-solation to the family were Mrs. Margaret Atwood. president of the ; Third Ward Relief Society and ,; former Bishop Neil Y. Fugal. j Mrs. Vance West, accompanied by her daughter Anne sang two numbers, "O Promise Me" and "O ) My Father." Calvin Jacobs pronounced pro-nounced the benediction, j Prelude and portlude music was played by Anne West. Interment directed by Olpin Mortuary was made in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City' cemetery, where the dedicatory prayer was offered offer-ed by Elmer Jacob. Pallbearers were Harold Jackson, Jack-son, Owen Christiansen, George Paul, Neil Thurman, Ed. Warbur-ton Warbur-ton and Joseph Robison. |
