Show Helen Holman Ecklund Buried Here Monday Internment was made Monday in the Pleasant Grove City cemetery of the body of Mrs. Helen Holman Ecklund, who was drowned early Thursday morning in a canal near her home in South Jordan. Mrs. Ecklund is believed to have missed her footing and fallen into the canal, as she walked from her trailer home to talk with her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Vanda H. Naylor who was sitting nearby in a parked car. The body was not recovered until un-til 10 A. M. Thursday. Funeral services ser-vices were conducted Monday at Midvale after which the body was brought here for burial. A native of Pleasant Grove, Mrs Ecklund was born 37 years ago to Benjamin and Margaret Harvey Har-vey Holman. She received her education ed-ucation in the schools of this city, and spent her girlhood and early womanhood here. Survivors include her husband, one brother, Harvey Holman, Salt Lake City, three sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Lor-raine H. Wright, of Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Vanda H. Naylor of Midvale. and Mrs. Vera H. Baines of San Francisco. |
