Show FORMER PLEASANT GROVE RESIDENT DIES IN PROVO.. Friends here were shocked and grieved Sunday to hear of the death of Mrs, Lavona Probert Anderson, And-erson, a former resident of this city, and wife of Andrew A. Anderson, And-erson, native of Preasant Grove. Mrs. Anderson died at a Provo hospital hos-pital following an operation. She was ibom in Lake Shore, Dec. 21, 1881, to Ed. L. and Arietta Hutchings Probert. She married A. A. Andeson of Pleasant Grove on March 4, 1901, in the Salt Lake L. D. S. Temple, and with him made their home for several years at Idaho Falls and several other Idaho points. About 20 years ago they returned return-ed to make their home here, until Mr- Anderson was made chief executive ex-ecutive of the Utah National Parks Boy Scouts Council, when they moved to Provo where they have since made their home. Mrs. Anderson has always been a diligent church worker, being active ac-tive in the Relief Society, Mutual Improvement Assocation and the Daughter of, Utah Pioneers. Surviving with her husband are two sons and three daughters. Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 1.30 P. M. in the Provo Third Ward chapel with Arthur D. Taylor in charge. |
