Show Funeral Services Held Wed. For W. W. Warnick Touching and impresssive funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Wili'ord W. Warnick, former president of Timpanogos Stake. The spacious Timpanogos Stake Tabernacle was filled to capacity, with sorrowing relatives and friends who came to show love and respect re-spect to the memory of President Warnick. and express sympathy for his family. The floral offerings were outstanding and came from far and near. The service, directed by Bishop K. Warnick Swenson of Manila ward opened with a mixed quartette singing. sing-ing. "Come, Come, Ye Saints," the personnel being. Mrs. Marie Brown. Mrs. Maurine Allen. Ivan Monson. and George Monson accompanied by Miss Gwen Adams. Invocation was offered by Miilen D. Radmall. Sketh of the life and work of Presiednt Warnick were given by his daughter Mrs. Effie W. Adams, who also told faith promoting incidents in-cidents as given by her father. Vocal Number: "I Know That My Redeemer Lives" was sung by a quartette. Earl A. Beck, Irwin Jensen, Jen-sen, Elwood and Allen, Warren Kirk, with Miss Mae RT Walker as soloist. They were accompanied by Miss Jennie Gleason. Wm. C. Smith and M. S. Christiansen, Christ-iansen, bo'th, of whom labored with , Mr. Warnick in the Stake Presiden- T cy, spoke words of tribute and ex- months ago. An efficient public servant, Mr. Warnick held many offices in this district, including a term as state senator from Utah county for the years of 1923 to 1025. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Sergeant Charles W. Warnick, Italy; Stephen Lee Warnick, War-nick, Pleasant Grove; three daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. LeRoy Mecham, American Ameri-can Fork; Mrs. J. Arza Adams, of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. William West, Cambride, Mass. . The following brothers & sisters also survive: Howard B. Warnick. Mrs. Cora Atwood, Mrs. Adena Swenson, Adoiphus P Warnick, and Merrill N. Warnick, all of Pleasant Grove; Miss Effie Warnick Pro-vo, Pro-vo, and Reed W. Warnick, Arvada, Colorado. Atwood, a brother in law, Stephen L. Chipman, President of the Salt Lake Temple, and President Presi-dent David O. McKay. All spoke in high praise of Mr. Warnick's honesty, hon-esty, thrift, and sincerity in his work, his love for and faith in the gospel and his unselfish devotion to his family and friends. Other musical numbers were a vocal solo "Oh My Father" by Mrs. Ora Chipman, accompanied by Mrs. Mary Humphries; another number, "Softly Tenderly Jesus Is Calling," by the male quartette; and the closing number, "Goodnight" by Mrs. Edith Grant Young, accompanied accom-panied by Mrs. Humphries. Benediction was offered by Harold Har-old M. Wright and R. D. Wadley, a brother-in-law of President Warnick War-nick offered the dedicatory prayer at the grave in the Pleasant Grove , City Cemetery, where graveside music was pleayd by Jean Fugal & Anna Fugal Bailey. Active pall bearers included Bishops Bish-ops who had served during President Presi-dent Warnick's serving as Stake Presidwicy; they were: Bishop C. R. Clark, and past Bishops, Jos. S. Wajker, J. A. West, Stanley B. u-ris, H. V. Swenson and L. B. Walker. , Honorary pall bearers were the High Priests Quorum of Timpanogos Timpan-ogos Stake. A native of Pleasant Grove, Mr. Warnick was born April 2S, 1880, a son of Charles P. and Christine Larson Warnick. He was reared in Pleasant Grove and educated in the public schools here. He attended the first high school in this community. com-munity. He was also a student at the University o'f Utah and the Brigham Young academy. He taught school for five years. On June 17, 1903, he married Janette Isabelle Wadley in the Salt Lake Temple.
