Show Infant Dies Following Long Struggle Funeral services were conducted Monday in the Second ward chapel for Marilyn Crookston, eight-month-old ' daughter of -Elmo and Belia Hunter Crookston. The baby died Friday evening in a Salt Lake City hospital. Born in February, Marilyn weighed weigh-ed but 2 pound 5 ounces. Under the constant care of the doctors and her parents she seemed to be growing grow-ing nicely but was always weak. She is survived by her parents; one brother, Richard; her grandparents, Mr. and! Mrs. J. P. Crookston of American Fork, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hunter of Alpine. Bishop Storrs was in charge of the services and announced the following fol-lowing program: vocal solo, "Prayer Perfect" by K. J- Bird, accompanied accompan-ied by Evelyn Peck; prayer, Clyde Crookston; remarks, Bishop Harold Stewart of the Jefferson ward, Salt Lake City; remarks, President CW-ford CW-ford E. Young and Bishop Storrs, solo "I Think When I Read That Sweet Story," Mrs. C. E. Young; prayer, George Scott. Interment was made in the city cemetery, where the grave was dedicated ded-icated by Lyman Moyle of Alpine. |
