Show Former Resident Dies Following j Operationj Hazel Thorne Walton, 46, died at a Salt Lake City hospital Wednes- j day, following an operation for tumor. tu-mor. She was born in Pleasant Grove January 12, 1890, the daughter daugh-ter of David and Annie Armitstead Thorne. She was educated in the public schools here. She married Clarence "Walton in 1913 and they moved to American Fork, where they lived for five years. At the time of her death they lived in Salt Lake City. She was an active ; L. D. S. church worker, being a i teacher in the Relief Society. j Surviving are her husband and four sons and daughters as f ol-1 lows: Mrs. Elma W. Howard, Wayne I Walton, Dorthy and Raymond Walton, Wal-ton, all of Salt Lake City; three grandchildren and the following brothers and sisters: William Thorne, American Fork; Silas and Leo Thorne, Bingham; Delilah Thorne Strong of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Duayne Harper, Pleasant Grove. Funeral services will be conducted conduct-ed from the Highland Park L. D. S. chapel Sunday at 1 o'clock p. m. The remains may be viewed at the family residence Sunday until time for the funeral. |
