Show Funeral Services Held Wednesday For Steven Aston Funeral services for Steven Aston, 22, were held Wednesday, Wednes-day, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m. in the Lindon Ward Chapel. They were conducted by Alan Marchbanks, a counselor in the Lindon Second Ward bishopric. bish-opric. Mr. Aston died Sunday at the University Hospital in Salt Lake City of a kidney disease. Speakers at the services were Joseph Swenson and Fred Hoffman. A poem was read by Gerald Gaylor. Musical numbers were given by Audra Hooley and Annie Smith, accompanied by LaDean Gillman, and Alwyn Biggs, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Gillman. Family prayer, invocation and benediction were given by George Clark, Lowell Gillman and Bishop Nyle Harris, respectively. re-spectively. Dennis Hansen and Al Hardman were honorary pallbearers. pall-bearers. Steven T. Aston was born Aug. 26, 1950 in Lindon, a son of Theo S. and Nellie Ilene Fowler Aston. He married Bonnie Bon-nie Peels Nov. 31, 1969 in Pleasant Grove. They were later lat-er divorced. He was employed at Lehi General Refractories. He was a member of the LDS Church. He had graduated from the Pleasant Grove High School, and had attended Utah Technical Tech-nical College at Provo. Survivors include his parents, par-ents, Lindon, one daughter, brothers and four sisters, Clin-Amber Clin-Amber Kay Aston, Orem; two ton James, U.S. Marines, San Diego; Mrs. Frank (Linda) Rowe, Tooele; David, Cheryl, Teresa, and Michelle Aston, all of Lindon; grandparents, Mrs. May Aston, Lindon and Earl Fowler, Sr., Myton. |
