Show Funeral Services Held March 6 for Albert Peterson Funeral Services for Albert M. (Bert) Peterson, 60 of PI. Grove, were held Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. in the Third-Sixth Ward Chapel, under the direction of Bishop Cloyd L. Christiansen of the Sixth Ward. Mr. Peterson died Wednesday, Wednes-day, March 3, in the American Fork Hospital of a heart attack. at-tack. Speakers at the funeral services ser-vices were Max Thorne and Eugene Bezzant, and Bishop Christiansen gave opening remarks. re-marks. Musical numbers were given by Norman E. Wright and the Singing Mothers, accompanied by Conrad Wright and Judy Brown. Family prayer was offered by Glen Peterson, Steve Hamilton gave the opening prayer, Ethan Eth-an Peay the closing prayer, and the grave was dedicated by William West in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery. Prelude and postlude organ music was played by Laurel Thorne. Pallbearers were Keith Wag-staff, Wag-staff, Lynn Robinson, Robert Buck, Ernest Thomas, Heinz Leonhardt and Delbert Carson. Honorary pallbearers were Jay Peterson, Dennis Peterson, Mathew Peterson and James Peterson. Flowers were cared for and arranged by the Sixth Ward Relief Re-lief Society. Mr. Peterson was born Nov. 28, 1910 in Lehi to Charles L. and Mary Jane Wagstaff Peterson. Pet-erson. He married Anna Ner-din Ner-din Nov. 21, 1929 in Salt Lake City. He has been a maintenance man at the Utah State Training Train-ing School for the past 11 years He lived in Lehi all his life until 1961, when he moved to Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove. He worked as a truck driver for Utah Poultry for 35 years, and was a member mem-ber of the LDS Church. Survivors include his widow, sons, L. J. Peterson, Pocatello, Dean Peterson, Pleasant Grove nine grandchildren, three great grandchildren, five brothers and three sisters, Max Wayne Peterson, Glen J. Peterson and Douglas Peterson, all of Salt Lake City; Louis Odell Peterson, Peter-son, El Cajon, Calif.; Mrs. Edith Ed-ith Cornfoot, San Francisco; Mrs. Ferrell (Thelma) Hites-man, Hites-man, Tooele; Mrs. Charles (Helen) Rose Aberle, Charles Amos Peterson, Lehi; stepbrothers stepbro-thers and stepsisters, Mrs. Freda Fre-da Peterson, Lehi; Mrs. Klara Van Valdenburgh, Mrs. Isabelle Crumbie, Harry Zierald and Carl Zierald, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Cliff (Lenora) Christenson, El Monte, Calif.; Mrs. Erma Werner, Arcadia, Calif. |
