Cunningham (right) as chairman of the United States Treasury Department volunteer chairman for Utah's "Share In America '70" Savings Bonds Campaign. Local snow mobilers responded enthusiastically to a request to participate in a film on snow mobile safety. The film was made recently at the head of Daniels Canyon by the Central Utah Water Safety Council, reported L.T. Menlove, secretary of the local organization. Snow mobiling has become a very popular winter sport. It is estimated that more than one million snow mobiles will be in operation in the United States and Canada by the end of this winter. The frisky snow machine has invaded every nook and cranny where winter is white. Literally hundreds of thousands of sportsmen are enjoying this winter recreation. As with most other mechanized activities, accidents with snow mobiles are occurring at an alarming rate. The film was planned in an attempt to prevent accidents and make snow mobiling safer. Since snow is a form of water, the Central Utah Water Safety Council feels they have a responsibility in promoting safety in win- ter sports. ,m ' VV f r T" Zk.m, the future with a two-inc- h focuses on Laboratories Bell Chrie Nielson of Telephone pipe, no wider than a telescope, that will someday carry a quarter of a million telephone conversations.
