Over 500,000 licenses of various types were ordered by the Fish and Game to be sure licenses will be available to the sporting public where and when they need Senator Frank E. Moss, keynote speaker at the Utah Jaycees Governmental Affairs Seminar, acted in behalf of J. P. OKeefe, general manager, Utah Copper Division, Kennecott Copper Corporation, and presented a $500 contribution to Donald J. Deru, state president, Utah Jaycees, at the Prudential Federal Savings and Loan auditorium, Saturday, March 15. The contribution, which Kennecott has made for the past four years, has allowed the Jaycees to conduct annually a Model Legislature at the State Capitol followed by a Governmental Affairs Seminar held each year at this time. Mr. Deru accepted and gratefully acknowledged the contribution on behalf of Jaycees all over the state and noted that Kennecotts annual support not only has allowed both of the programs to continue but also enabled them to grow. Mr. Deru expressed the appreciation of his organization with a presentation of a special plaque in recognition of continued support to the programs.
