Mr. and Mrs. Zen Allred of Roman, Montana visited relatives and friends for a few days. They were dinner guests Memorial Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Burraston. Others present were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Perry and family of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Milo Burraston, Mrs. Lotty Terry of Payson and Mrs. Birdie Wimber of Orem. Winegar. Jerol Christensen, Ronald Christensen, Mike Okelberry, Steven Palmer and Roger Hanna spent the weekend at Fish Lake fishing. Fishermen from town report they had good luck fishing in different places during the past week of rain showers. Mr. and Mrs. Ron Hurst and baby son, e, Rodney, left Saturday morning for Calif. Mrs. Hurst is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Cook (Sharon) and Mr. Hurst is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Hurst of Payson. They will spend the remainder of his service time there. Mill-val- Other patients at the hospital are Mrs. Mrs. Margery Cook, for tests and LaRae Okelberry, for observations; Mrs. Dorthella Cook, for tests and treatment and Mr. Maynard Thomas (from the trailer N- Miss Claudia Stanfield was released from the Utah Valley Hospital last Saturday after having surgery on her foot, performed last Wednesday. We all wish her a speedy recovery. There were 12 members present. A delicious luncheon was served to all and cards were played with prizes going to Elva Okelberry, Sylvia Steck and Avelline Kirk. Mrs. Peterson especially requests that anyone having suitable articles for the fish pond be handed to her or to any member of the committee by June 19. Ella Greenhalgh Peterson, 43, Center, Orem, died Tuesday, June 9, 1970, at the Utah Valley Hospital of cancer. Born Jan. 29, 1927 in Santaquin, she was a daughter of Carl D. and Olive LeBaron Greenhalgh. (W Born April 14, 1908 in Circleville, she was a daughter of John M. and Elizabeth Westwood Bucklar. She married Garn Spencer Nov. 23, 1931 at Junction, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He died in Dec. 1958. She married Roy Olson June 30, 1964 in the Manti Temple. Mrs. Olson was educated in Circleville schools. She lived in Escalante until 1959 when she moved to Provo. In 1964 she moved to Santaquin. She was employed at Brigham Young University from 1959 to 1964. A member of the LDS Church she was active in the Relief Society organization. Survivors include her husband ofSanta-qui- n; a son, DeLoy Spencer, Ogden; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Betty Jane) DowJack Olson, dell, Provo; two step-son- s, Santaquin, Tom Olson, Price; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Don (Kathryn) Patten, Santa Ana, Calif.; 25 grandchildren; two one sister, Mrs. (Guelda) Moosman, Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1 Stake Cenp.m. in the Santaquin-Tint- ic ter, with Bishop Justin Lamb officiating. She was educated in Santaquin and Payson and attended Brigham Young University. She has lived in Orem since 1959. A member of the LDS Church, she worked in the Sunday School, MIA and Primary organizations. She was also a Relif Society visiting teacher. Survivors include her husband of Orem; four daughters, Lynda Dawn, Jean Marie, Mareen and Angela, all of Orem; her mother, Mrs. Olive Greenhalgh, Santaquin; a brother Karl D. Greenhalgh, Santaquin; five sisters, Mrs. D.F. (Delsa) Budd, Los Angeles, Calif; Mrs. F.M. (Carol) Davis, Payson; Mrs. J.B. (Velda) Holla-da- y, Ontario, Ore.; Mrs. H.L. (Joyce) Weeks, Mi librae, Calif.; and Marcia Greenhalgh, Salt Lake City. Funeral services were held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Orem 25th Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Orem City Cemetery. He spent some time at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kaletta and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Searle in Payson. His wife, the former Joan Searle, accompanied him to Denver where she will remain with him. PFC Kaletta received wounds to his arm in Vietnam recently and it will require several months of treatment be- - w, and families. Mrs. Clarence (Margaret) Carter is a patient in the Payson Hospital where she was taken to undergo possible surgery. Laiel Warenski was named queen of the Little Buckaroo queen contest held Friday night at the rodeo grounds. Her attendants are Laura Coombs and Karen WalL Mr. and Mrs. Robert Warenski are the parents of Laiel; Lauras parents are Mr. and Mrs. LaRay Coombs and Mr. and Mrs. Elfawn Wall are Karens parents. These three little girls will be the royalty at the rodeo to be held Friday and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. at the rodeo grounds. The Little Buckaroo Rodeo is a feature of the Santaquin Homecoming celebration.
