The girls are looking forward to an interesting and fun summer in work. Park. A total of 135 persons were present, coming from Reno and Las Vegas, Nev.; Burley and Rupert, Idaho; Fillmore, Pay-so- n, Spanish Fork and Salem. 4-- Fireman Jay D. Carter, USN, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Carter of 414 South 300 East, Payson, Utah, and husband of the former Miss Kady M. Willes of 465 North 700 East, Spanish Fork, Utah, returned to San Diego aboard the USS Duncan after a seven month deploy ment to the Western Pacific. As a member of the crew he helped participate in giffifire support actions against enemy coastal positions in South Vietnam. He also participated in plane guard duty in the Golf of Tonkin and radar picket duty in the water off Korea. After completing her tour of combat duty the Duncan visited Australia where she was the official U. S. Representative to the ceremonies making the Battle of the Coral Sea in World War II. As a member of the crew he also visited Samoa where hfe helped greet the return of the astronauts from their Apollo 10 journey. Allan Kenison Army Private First Class Alan B. Kenison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert D. Kenison, Route 1, Payson, Utah, was assigned to the 32nd Medical Depot near Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam, June 2 as a mechanized stock control specialist. His wife, Sheree, lives at 296 W. First South, Payson, Utah. Mrs. Ellison of Payson was assisted by Grant Johnson, and Jane Jex, Spanish Fork. Merle chairman, Payson; reunion will be held in Reno, Nev., with Byrul Sheen of Reno as The 4-- H 1970 The Francis Marion and Eliza A Calkins reunion was held June 22 at the Payson City Memorial City Park with more than 80 family members attending. Lunch, a program and sports were the features of the day. A count was taken and a report was given of each family group. The family of Earl Elmer had the most attending with 27 present. A history of John Rolph and Rebecca Matoks was given by Edna Gerber. She had pedegree charts made up by the group tracing these two individuals from 1614 down to Eliza Calkins and Francis Marion Elmer. The names who appear at the head of our Elmer ard Taylor. Shop At Home And Save Time and Money DANCE to THE SEVEN BEES Wednesday evening, June 18, the 7 Bees H Club held their meeting at the home of their leader, Viola Cowan. Sheri Brere-to- n, president, called the meeting to order. The girls worked on their project which is learning to crochet a rug. Two grils 4-- Richard Johnson Mr. and Mrs. Mark Johnson have been informed that their son, Pvt. Richard Johnson, has distinguished himself by attaining a higher score than any other member of his unit on the basic individual training proficiency test conducted at Fort Ord, California. Ricky is now stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and will be home in July to await further assignment with the United States Army. Subscribe To The Payson Chronicle 9:00 p.m. were unable to attend. HOME FURNISHINGS THE TOURNIQUET TRUSTEES The Tourniquet Trustees First Aid and Home Nursing Club met Thursday at the home of their leader, Mrs. Meg Way-ma- n. The lesson was entitled, Bathing and Care of the Baby and the little son, of Paul and Larraine Meredith, Val Meredith was used in the demonstration. He really enjoyed the attention given him.
