Mountain Fuel Daley Field Deeded to Little League Assn. As a memorial to the late Ned Daley, his mother and her family have deeded Daley Field to the Little League Baseball Association of Payson. Mr. Daley, killed in an auto accident in October, 1963, was organizer of the Little League Baceball program in Payson. The boys he began working with some eight years before his death had no specific place to practice or to play. His mother, Mrs. Myrtle Daley, gave permission for them to use her lower lot, stating that the ground had raised a good gar-re- in Utah Co. Six teams were organized in Fayson, with from 15 to 20 boys on each team. Ned spearheaded the sponsoring of suits and all teams were outfitted through cooperation of various Payson firms.
