Peterson Nora Boardman Busby Peterson, 52, died last Wednesday evening in the Payson Hospital of natural causes. She was bom Feb. 15, 1910, in Provo, a daughter of Alvin and Emma Halliday Board-ma- n. She married Leo D. Busby in October of 1928. They were later divorced. She married Reed Peterson June 30, 1957, in Provo. She was a member of the LDS Church. Surviving Mrs. Peterson are her husband of Santaquin, three sons and one daughter, Ernest Busby, Ogden; Alvin Busby, Orem; George Busby, Long Beach Calif., and Mrs. Donna Brereton, Orem; 18 and grandchildren; a step-so- n three Reed Edward Peterson, Santaquin; Mrs.- Margaret Thomas, Gen-olMrs. Kathleen Searlq, Granger, and Mrs. Coleen Salt Lake; four sisters, Mrs. Erma Bailey, Mrs. Telia Mae Bothers, Mrs. Mae Hansen, and Mrs. Alene Balzley, all of Provo. Funeral services were held - a; Hor-rock- s, Saturday in the Santaquin-Tinti- c Stake House with Bishop Frank Sorenson of the Santaquin First Ward officia-tion- . Interment was in the Santaquin Cemetery under direction of Keith Jolley Mrotuary. Mr. and Mrs. Quince Burdick and Mr. and Mrs. Bob attended funeral services Friday in Salt Lake City for Jerry McDonald, husband of the former Clyta Burdick of Payson. Mr. McDonald, a former general agent for a railroad, died in his real estate office of a heart attack Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. George Eckers- ley and also Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Shepherd attended funeral services last Wednesday in Provo for Mrs. Eckersleys brother, Fred W. Hollerman, 57. Surviving Mr. Hollerman are his widow, five sons and daughters, and nine grandch- ildren. PAYSON CHRONICLE Max R. Warner, Madoline Club Holds Slimmer Party Payson Lions Club members and their wives were entertained at a summer party in the Payson Park Monday evening. The party was under direction of Henry Mitarai president, with Mr. and Mrs. Merrin Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Huber, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Harmer, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hill, Mr. and Mrs. Max Warner as committee. Musical numbers were presented by Richard Davis and Richard Bona and Bobby Lof-gra- n. Publisher. Dixcu, The seminary officers for the coming year, Wayne Spencer , Kenny Crook, Zoe Ann Gardner and Shirley Stevens held a party in honor of the retiring seminary officers. The honored guests were Clyde Wilkinson, Dennis Smith Brent Olspn, Shjrlqy Lamb and Joyce Robbins; the teachers, G. Osmond Dunford, Lars Bishop and Gerald Finch; and those who ran against the new officers in the last ele-- i ction, Kim Hancock, Alan Wilde, Lynda Ivory, and Deanna Christensen.
