friday night the winter course students gave a unique party they had a new plan of invitation all the winter greens and the girls of the school were invited and the girls were to bring their partner this created lots of fun and a good time was had by all present the missed there regular regula r class party two weeks ago it is the custom to have one every two weeks but they made up for it at a party held last friday night at the home of miss irene thorley As usual the had a splendid time and that made several of the other classes feel envious A dandy basket ball game was pulled off between the B A C and richfield teams saturday night our boys were considerably better at passing the ball and as a consequence won easily by a score of 32 to 20 the richfield lads did good work however and high standard of our college B A C WINS the first league game of basket ball was played monday night and resulted in victory for our school the score being 46 to 18 the opponents of the B A C were from the kanab high school and put up a pretty good game but were somewhat handicapped because of the new rules recently adopted each players had to hold one hand behind him on a held ball another rule that played havoc with the opposing team was the center could not strike at the ball twice after it had left lef L the umpires hands outside the handicap mentioned the kanab boys did some day or two which caused the attending physician to postpone the operation saturday she again became seriously ill and it was feared that peritonitis had set in but sunday she again improved end the physician anticipates that the lady will recover without an operation at present |
