Firmage and nelce neice of or our former towns towns- townsman townsman man Mr Ed Firmage died at a Sail Salt Lake hospital early Tuesday morning following an acute attack of or and opera operaS operation operation tion for a ruptured appendix The death was doubly sad because ol or orthe tho the fact that the parents of Miss Firm Firm- Firmage Firmage age were traveling In Mexico and nd could not be located until after their beloved daughters daughter's death and they not arriving in Salt Lake until late last night not not- notwithstanding notwithstanding notwithstanding withstanding they hastened home by air air- plane Their mental anguish on their theix homeward Journey can be readily pic plc- Miss Firmage was one of Salt Lakes Lake's most popular and talented young ladles ladies beloved belo by all who knew her for her always happy nature and pleasing grad grad- Deceased was born in American Fork Utah on February 22 1916 where she spent her girlhood days attending the public schools of or that city Later she graduated from Miss Porters Porter's high school for girls at Long Beach California and also attended the Westlake school for girls at Beverly Hills California She had been a a. resident of Salt Lake City for two years past and was a a. Junior at the University of or Utah an honored member of or the Kappa Kappa Gamma and at the time of or her death was president president of or the Trotters Trotter's club and always prominent In social and college coll e ties Her untimely death will be sincerely mourned by a a. large circle of or friends and admirers Besides her parents the sur sur- survivors survivors ivors are two brothers and one sister J.
