Park City-Snyderville Recreation Service District Notice is hereby given that on July 16, 1986, the Board of Commissioners Com-missioners of Summit County,, Utah (the "Board"), adopted a Resolution declaring that the public health, convenience and necessity require the establishment establish-ment of a Special Service District, to be called "Park City-Snyderville City-Snyderville Recreation Service District" (herein the "Service District") for the purpose of providing pro-viding recreational services within the bundaries of said Service Ser-vice District. Said Resolution also provides for a public hearing on the establishment of the Service District to be held at the Parley's Park Elementary School in Snderville, Utah at 7 p.m. on August 20, 1986. Method of Financing: Pursuant to the provisions of the Utah Special Service District Act, Utah Code Annoted, Sections Sec-tions 11-23-1, et seq. (1953), as amended, and Article XIV, Section Sec-tion 8 of the Utah Constitution, the Service District may annually impose fees and charges to pay 'or all or a part of the services to be provided by the Service District. It may also annually levy taxes upon all taxable property within the Service District, to provide pro-vide the proposed services, and may issue bonds for the acquisition acquisi-tion and construction of facilities, systems or improvements to provide pro-vide said services, provided, however, that the levy to provide said services or to repay said bonds, must be authorized and approved by a majority of the qualified electors of the Service District at an election for that purpose. pur-pose. Public hearing on proposed establishment of special service district: The Board will hold a public hearing on the establishment of the proposed Service District and furnishing of recreational services ser-vices therein at 7 p.m. on August 20, 1986 at the Parleys Parkk Elementary School in Snyderville, Snyder-ville, Utah. Any interested person may protest the establishment of the proposed Service District or the fuirnishing of said services therein either orally at the hearing hear-ing or in writing, at or at any time prior to the hearing. Written protests pro-tests must be filed with the County Coun-ty Clerk in Coalville, Utah, and may be withdrawn by the protes-tant protes-tant at any time before the Board establishes or abandons the Service Ser-vice District. Any protest signed on behalf of a corporation owing property in the proposed Service District shall be sufficient if it is signed by the president, vice president, or any duly authorized agent of the corporation. At said public hearing, the Board will give full consideration to all protests which shall have been filed and will hear and consider con-sider all interested persons desiring to be heard. The Board may continue the hearing from time to time. After conclusion of the hearing, the Board shall adopt a resolution either establishing the Service District or determining that the establishment establish-ment of the Service District should be abandoned, or may, in its discretion, reduce the boundaries boun-daries of the proposed Service District and establish the Service District by resolution, as modified. If, within fifteen (15) days after the conclusion of the hearing, over fifty percent (50) of the qualified voters of the territory proposed to be included within the Service District or the owners of over 50 of the assessed value of the table property included in-cluded within the proposed Service Ser-vice District file written protest against the specified type of service ser-vice to be provided within the Service District with the County Clerk, the Board is required by law, in the former instance, to abandon the proposed establishment establish-ment of the Service District and, in the latter instance, to eliminate the type of service objected to from the resolution finally establishing the Service District. Any person who shall, at or any time prior to the date and time above-specified for the hearing, file a written protest with the County Clerk against the establishment of the Service District and who is a qualified voter residing within the proposed propos-ed Service District or whose property pro-perty has been included within the boundaries of the Service District notwithstanding such protest, may, within thirty (30) days after the adoption of the Resolution establishing the District, apply to the District Court of the Third Judicial District for a writ of review of the actions of the Board in establishing the Service District, only upon the grounds,, however, that his property will not be benefited by the services authorized to be furnished by the Service District or that the proceedings pro-ceedings taken in the establishment establish-ment of the Service District have not been in compliance with law. Information to bidders Park City Municipal Corp. is inviting in-viting bids to supply all material, labor, and equipment necessary to construct one Pressure Reducing Station and modify one Pressure Reducing Station. A complete set of construction drawings and specifications may be obtained from the Engineer, J.J. Johnson & Associates, Park Meadows Plaza, Park City, Utah 84060, upon receipt of $35. Sealed bids will be received by Park City Municipal Corp. until 1 1 a.m. on August 12, 1986, in the office of the Engineer, at which time they will be read aloud. No late bid will be accepted. Bid security in the amount of not less than five percent (5) of the total bid price must be submitted sub-mitted with each bid. Security may be in the form of a Bid Bond, Cashier's or Certified Check, Postal Money Order or Cash. A Bid Bond form is included in the specifications and may be used and executed. If a check or money order is used, it must be made payable to Park City Municipal Corp.
