Show cotm Wednesday, May 22, 1974 , Page 12 PARK CITY BRIEFS . BACCALAUREATE SERVICES Park City High School held its baccalaureate services on Sunday, May 19th at 8 PM in the school auditorium. The Baccalaureate Address was delivered by Senator Robert F. Clyde. Mr. Clyde spoke on The Power to He defined an act as the mainspring of existence and said that the power to act and the right to act are next to life itself. The Senator further stated that the Act. BACCALAUREATE potential of todays students inspires greater confidence in youth than ever before. The services were initiated by the Girls Chorus who sang Both Sides Now. This rendition was followed by the invocation given by Mr. William David Lindsay. The introductory was then delivered by Superintendent Dennis Nelson. Mr. Nelson was followed by the Girls Trio who sang Come Near To Me Jesus and a piano solo performed by Lori Nelson . After the Baccalaureate Address came the Girls Chorus with Hosanna. Services were concluded by Paula Kaye Roach who administered the benediction. The candidates for graduation are Laurie J. Anderson, Brian K. Wade. WELL BABY CLINIC Today, May 22, the Well Baby Clinic will meet at the Memorial Building, from 1 AM. Dr. John Cook and Rose Bigelow, Public Health Nurse, will be supervising, and anyone with children is welcome to at9-1- pre-scho- ol tend. In June, the Clinic will meet the third Wednesday of the month, as usual. pre-scho- SENIOR CITIZENS ol SENIOR CITIZENS LUNCHEON The Senior Citizens Luncheon, held at Marsac School on Friday, May 17, seemed to be an enjoyable event for all. The food provided by the school was delicious, and the citizens were able to discuss future plans and ELWELL ELECTED The Utah Associatipn of Elementary School Principals announced the election of Marsac Elementary School Principal John Elwell as Regional Elementary School Principal Chairman of Rich, Morgan, Wasatch, North and South Summit school districts. Mr. Elwell will represent his colleagues as a voting member at all state level meetings. SPEEDY VISITS MOUNT AIR Last Saturday, Speedy the roller skating clown came to Mount Air Market. Many Park City youngsters were as delighted Speedy skated through the store handing out candy and displaying various tricks on his skates.
