She was referring to her old friend at 8th Street and Park Avenue which happened to be the mystery crater. Eleanor had bounced over the money hole on her way to work at the Chamber of Commerce. She picked up a copy of the Coalition for perusal and spotted her friend in the contest column. Sure of success, she immediately phoned Doug at the Alamo to make her winning entry. MERCHANTS MEETING Park City Merchants will meet in the Memorial Building on Wednesday, May 1st at 7:30 PM. Topics to be discussed include the finalization of ad- vertising plans, spring cleanup, and Main Street issues. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and anyone having questions or suggestions should contact Sheila I vers. The restaruant and commercial areas of the Treasure Mountain Inn are undergoing renovation and rearrangement. Previously owned by the Greater Park City Company, the areas have been purchased by the owners of the TMI. GPCC will move their offices into the new buildings under construction at the Resort Center, The Ontario Room, upon completion of remolding, will be used to serve breakfast and lunch during the day and will function as a dinner club at night. A lounge will be added this fall. The Midnight Sun area will be converted into convention and banquet facilities and the remaining commerical space is to be leased. At present a flower and sundry shop, which will also serve as a wedding reception planning center, has rented space. A beauty and style shop for men and women is tentatively scheduled also. Two shops are still available for leasing. Completion of the project is expected by mid-fal- l. WOODSY OWL HOOTS: MR. WILDE Shhhhhhh... Mr. Richard Wilde, President of Silver King Bank, was expected to return to work on a parttime basis Monday, April 29th. He was injured in an automobile accident on Interstate 80 the night of April 12th. Mr. Wilde was under medical care at St. Marks Hospital until Saturday, April 20th, when he returned ELEANO home ahead of schedule. SMALL BLAZE BRINGS PROMPT RESPONSE Early in the evening, Friday, April 26, the Park City Fire Department was called out to quench what turned out to be a minor blaze at Jacks Shack located on Mar-sa- c Avenue. Apparently, a log in the Franklin Stove overheated, causing the flue to ignite the rafters in the attic. The Fire Department is to be commended for its prompt response to the call.
