Show Wednesday, May 1, 1974 PARK CITY Page ll 11 SPRING CLEANUP Park Citys Spring Cleanup Campaign will take place from May 6th to May 27th. Sponsored Dy the municipal government and the Chamber of Commerce, the effort will hopefully supply the city with a much needed face lift for the summer. From May 6th to May 11th, tjie city will haul refuse away from residences east of Main Street. Those living west of Main Street can have undesirable objects removed between the 12th and the 18th. It is preferred that anyone desiring this trash and junk removal service contact City Hall. Tentative plans have the U.S. Army Reserve coming to town on May 18th and 19th, to tear down old buildings. If the Army is unable to participate, the city and GPCC equipment will be employed for the task. Any persons wanting a building razed or a junked car removed should call the city manager or city hall. Anyone interested in participating in the building demolition should do likewise. On May 18th, Main Street will be cleaned. On May 20th, Marsac School children will clean the upper portion of town while high school students clean the lower section. At the present time, posters created by Marsac students are being put on display to encourage support for the campaign. In addition to the various projects, the Cleanup Committee is in the process of developing city ordinances which would insure cleanliness throughout the year. Any person who requires assistance in yard cleaning is urged to contact Wayne Matthews, the City Manager.
