October 20 – 30: Eccles Dinosaur Park will host the “Haunted Dinosaur Park” from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. There will be over 300 jack-o-lanterns to light the way, and volcanoes spewing fire. The park will come to life with goblins, wizards, witches and other Halloween creatures. The park will still be open during regular business hours, Monday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. to accommodate “normal” people. Those looking for the frights at night should join us for our “Haunted Dinosaur Park.” October 20: Rainbow’s Forth Annual Halloween Harvest Food Fest, Saturday, October 21 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Rainbow Gardens at the mouth of Ogden Canyon. October 21: Come joint the Spainhowers at the South Fork Garden Center on Saturday for the 2nd annual pumpkin Patch & Carving Competition. For $5.00, contestants are furnished with a pumpkin and necessary supplies. Pie and Chile Cook-Off judging at 2:00 p.m. Bring your favorite prepared recipes to the Garden Center between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Beginning at 1:00 p.m., a storyteller will be on hand to spook the crowd with ghoulish stories.
