Duane served in the Army from 1957 to 1959. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved putting together model airplanes and cars, very meticulous in nature. He had a unique sense of humor in regards to old acquaintances. He is survived by his four brothers and sisters: Renae Miller, Portland, OR; Ann Mills, Idaho Falls, ID; VaLois Parrish, Benicia, CA; and David (Lynda) Cramer, Radford, VA. They lived in Huntsville until Ken was two years old when the family moved to Randolph, Utah. He was educated in Rich County and graduated from South Rich High School in 1942. At South Rich High, Ken played trumpet with the band, ran for the track team, and also played on the football team. For a long time Ken held the school record for the half-mile and mile events. He also graduated from LDS Seminary while at South Rich. Following graduation Ken moved to Ogden, Utah. He attended Weber State College where he studied aircraft engines, later transferring to Utah State University. With the war on, Ken went to work at Hill Field, now known as Hill Air Force Base, where he worked on airplane fuel systems. While at Hill he received training in Akron, Ohio from both Firestone and Goodyear. Ken worked at Hill until the end of World War II. Ken met his lifelong partner, Lila Edith Butler, after he moved to Ogden. Ken and Lila were married June 15, 1948 in the Logan LDS Temple. They had five children. He was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as the Aaronic Priesthood Secretary and Ward Clerk in the Washington Terrace 3rd Ward. Ken worked for Williamson Body and Equipment building truck trailers where he remained until his retirement in 1990. She was born August 18, 1913 in Liberty, Utah, the daughter of Warren Delbert Campbell and Marian Storey Campbell. She attended the Liberty/Eden School and Weber High School, and graduated from Davis High School in 1931. She went on to graduate from the Thomas Dee Memorial Hospital School of Nursing in 1934. She married Myron B. Walker in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, July 2, 1935. After 17 years of marriage, he died on March 24, 1952. She married Urban S. Madsen on January 11, 1954, and after 27 years of marriage, he died on August 28, 1980. She was chosen as one of two Utah Delegates to represent Utah at the 1940 National Nurses Convention in Philadelphia. Olive was highly regarded in the nursing profession and was beloved by her family. She worked as a surgical nurse at the hospital, physician office nurse for Dr. Conrad Jensen, Weber County Health Department School Nurse, and as a Davis County Public Health School Nurse until her retirement in Bonnie Kay Jensen East returned to her Heavenly Father, and to the loving arms of her husband Michael on Friday, January 19, 2007. She was born December 27, 1951 in Ogden, the daughter of Devon E. and Lorraine Sandberg Jensen. In September 1981 she married Michael Don East in the Ogden LDS Temple. He preceded her in death | on November 20, 2004. Bonnie was member of the LDS Church, and lore church and church activities and doing crafts and special gifts for church, family, and friends. She was extremely talented with her hands. She worked for the IRS, retiring after 30 years. She was a very positive and outgoing person.
