We invite residents to send their announcements to: THE OGDEN VALLEY NEWS PO BOX 130 EDEN UT 84310 Valley Residents Urged Not to Park on Roadways this Winter The Ogden Valley Sheriffs’ Precinct would like to remind Valley residents not to park their vehicles on the roadways during the winter months for snow removal purposes. Streets cannot be adequately plowed with vehicles left unattended on them. Nordic Valley is particularly hazardous for snowplow crews because of the narrow and steep roads. Citizen cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated. Valley Sheriffs’ Precinct Safety Tip: The two most common causes of traffic accidents on snowy or icy roads are: Driving too fast and following too close. Slowing down and allowing extra distance between vehicles can help prevent automobile accidents during the winter months. Sgt. Ryon Hadley Weber County Sheriffs Office Ogden Valley Precinct. Letters to the Editor Committee Says Thank You Eden Park Committee would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Ruth Monahan of the “United Sates Forest Service” for donating a bulletin board to the Park. This will be used to post important phone numbers, schedules, and events. It will be located behind the Scorekeeper building. We would also like to thank Mark Naylor of “Northern Utah Glass” for donating the glass for the bulletin board. This will help to keep items dry and secure from the weather. We know the bulletin board will be a vital asset to the community in the future. Thanks again to Ruth & Mark.
