Show GUARD AND ARMY MEN TO MEET ON COAST SALT LAKE, Nov. 1. Adjutants general of various states with national nation-al guard units belonging io the Ninth corps, will attend a conference at San Francisco within a short time to flU-cush flU-cush the reorganization of the Ninth corps area, of which the Utah National Nation-al guard is a unit. Orders were received yesterday hy Lieutenant Colonel Fred Jorgenaon from Brigadier General Jesse Mel. Carter, chief of the militia bureau, dllrectlng that the conference be held. The time Will be fixed at some dale mutually agreeable. The Ninth corps area will include the Fortieth and Forty-first divisions of the reorganized army. Subjects to be taken up at the conference, as outlined out-lined by General Carter, are as follows: The baalc plan of reorganization; allotment of national guard units to corps areas; tentative allotment of units to states. Changes ln existing national guard organizations which will be necessary hefore then can be considered as units of the corps area allotment.
