Show MUSICIANS ARE READY FOR HOP Honor Places as Directors Go to Cleon Dalby and "Ren" Ford t'lon Dalby, instructor in music at the Slate Industrial school, against L. W. Pord, orchestra leader and teacher of the violin. That is to be the lineup for the dancing party to be given by the ng-den ng-den Musicians Protective union at thoj White City Tuesday evening Mr. Dalby Is to be the conductor o( the band which will play the first, hour and a half of the danc e progr - in Mr- Ford is to direct the orchestra which will play the last part of the program. Ecry member of the musicians'! union has been pledged to refrain from' taking apy other engagement the, night of the danc e. Thus all are available avail-able to plaj in either the band or tUj orchestra. The musicians Saturday received; through the mails their assignment to play cither under Mr Dalby or under1 Mi. Ford. Both Mr. Dalby and Mr. Ford are skilled musicians and dance music leaders and musicians are taking considerable interest In tho Question as to which organization will be the most popular with the dancers, the band or tho big orchestra. |
