Show DEMOCRATS TO MEET ON SEPT. 14 The Weber county Democratic central cen-tral committee held a meeting yesterday yester-day afternoon in the headquarters of the Wilson-Marshall club and It was decided to Issue a call for the county convention to be held in the abovo club rooms Saturday, September 14, at 11 o'clock a. m. The convention is to place In nomination nom-ination candidates for the following j offices: One state senator, four representatives representa-tives to tho state legislature, count clerk, recorder, sheriff, treasurer, attorney, at-torney, assessor and surveyor, and to select a county central committee. The basis of representation is ono delegate for each 25 votes or major fraction thereof, cast for T. S. Browning Brown-ing for state senator In 1910, which gives a totnl of 153 delegates, apportioned appor-tioned among districts as follows: Ogden City. First ward, First district dis-trict 5, second, 5, third 4, fourth 3. Second ward, fifth 5, sixth 4, seventh 1. Third ward, eighth S. ninth 5. tenth 3. Fourth ward, eleventh 7, twelfth 0, thirteenth 7, fourteenth G. Fifth ward, fifteenth C, sixteenth 11, seventeenth 7. Burch Creelc 2, Eden 2. Farr West 2, Harrisvillo 3, Huntsville S, Hooper No. 1, 2, No. 2, 4. Kanesville 2, Liberty Lib-erty 3, Marriott 2. North Ogden o, Plain City 5, Pleasant View 3, Randall Ran-dall 1, RIvordalo 2, Roy 3. Slaterville 2, Uintah 1, Warren 2, West Weber No. 1, 2, No. 2, 2, Wilson 3. Total, 153. The Ogden primaries for the election elec-tion of delegates to convention will ho held Thursday evening, September 12, at 8 o'clock. While these primaries aro called by wards, the committee recommends that delegates be selected select-ed by districts. County precinct chairmen are requested re-quested to see that prlma'ries are held for the election of delegates, and that candidates are named for justice of the peace and constable. |
