Show BANKRUPTCY CASE IN FEDERAL COURT In tho federal court yesterday a suit was filed by' Joseph McConnell against the Utah Copper company to secure $25,000 damages for personal injuries alleged to have been sustained sustain-ed two years ago while the plaintiff was In the employ of the Boston Consolidated Con-solidated Minos company at Bingham. The complaint sets forth that McConnell Mc-Connell was struck by a defective jack while operating an electric motor His skull was fracture 1 near the base of the brain, rendering him insane for two years, according to the complaint Since that time, it Is averred, the plaintiff has recovered after prolonged -treatment and great expense. Costs are also asked. The Boston Consolidated company was bought out by the Utah Copper company In May, 1910, the latter company com-pany assuming all debts and obligations obliga-tions under the, torms of the sale. By virtue of this the suit Is brought against the Utah Copper company. A petition was filed by the Ferguson-McKlnney Ferguson-McKlnney Dry Goods company of St. Louis et al. against the B." Cohen company of Ogden and Rock Springs asking that the defendant corporation be declared bankrupt. nn |
