Tho company has made three sur-ieva sur-ieva from the Hermitage to Hunts-ville. Hunts-ville. but has not determined definitely defi-nitely which line will be accepted The Utah Light & Railway company owns much of the land over which the proposed extension must piss In order to get to Ogden valley, and the Rapid Transit company has been anxious anx-ious to secure a right of way over the ground, but up to the present" time the trolley people have not designated designat-ed Uie exact course they desire to follow. As soon ns the question can be setj tied uion by the Rapid Transit com- pany au appllcatletn for a right or way over a definite piece of property will be made to the Utah Light & Railway company, as It is thought that there will be no difficulty In tho two companies arriving at a satisfactory satisfac-tory understanding. It luis been rumored that as soon as the right ef way Is granted, the canyon road will begin the building of the extension from the Hermitage to lluntsvllle, and that contracts for culverts and bridges along the line will be negotiated but Superintendent Superinten-dent Bailey states that the matter of building the road lieyond the Hermitage Her-mitage ha not beeu decided upon and cannot be until the right of way question has been settled He says that no plana for construction work havo he-en taken up. |
