Show WEDDING RECEPTION. A happy wedding reception, at which seventy-five guests were entertained, en-tertained, was given last evonlng, at 8 o'clock, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. E. Larson of 310 Eighteenth street, In honor of their daughter, j Minnie, and' Fred E. S&agcr, who were united in marriage at the Salt Lake Temple at noon Wednesday The home was beautifully decorated decor-ated with autumn leaves, roses, carnations carna-tions and asters, tho colors pink and white prevailing At 9 o'clock, strains of Prof. Agee's band were heard as they marched down Eighteenth street, entering tho gate they marched up the walk, meeting meet-ing the bridal party nnd were conducted con-ducted to the canvas spread lawn, which was brilliantly llchted by Japanese Jap-anese lanterns. The band rendered several beautiful overtures, and later dancing on the canvas was much enjoyed. en-joyed. Punch was served during tho evening, when all drank to the health of the bride and groom. The refreshments, prepared and arranged by Mrs H W. Todd and Mrs. C. E. Larson, were sorvpd by Misses Jannie, Lillian -and Ellen Larson. Lar-son. Tho bride wore a handsome gown of white charmeuse satin trimmed with pearls and spangles, with gold band and white roses in her hair. The beautiful wedding gifts were many, and In good taste, the tokens of love and esteem of relatives and friends. At a lite hour the guests departed, declaring this an evening long to remembered. |
