Show GUIVER-HEFLEN. A parcel shower was brought by tho many friends of Miss Edna Gul- ver on Monday evening to the home ' of her sister, Mrs. C. E. Llttlefield, j 33C Patterspn .avenue. In honor of . her wedding which was expected to be on Wednesday, April 12, but as a surprise to the Jolly company tho nuptial ceremony uniting Miss Edna , Gulver and Mr. William Heflen was j performed tho same evening. Music, : congratulatory sjieeches and pleasant ! social diversion was followed by the serving of tho wedding supper at . which covers were laid for fifty j guests The dining table was espec-1 ially attractive with its adornment of violets and carnations and the parlor j with roses and carnallons. j Tho bride was attired In a dainty 'blue chiffon over taffota and ,tho groom In, conventional suit of bhiclc Mr. Heflen is'tho well-known cream- ) cry man of Og"den and Miss Guiver is the charming daughter of Mrs. J. I M. Guiver' and has been employed as j a book keeper for H. L. Griffin Co. for the past ten years. A farewell and congratulatory address ad-dress in behalf of hof good and faithful faith-ful service given by the president of the firhi, H- L. Grlmn, was a pleasant "feature of the evening.
