Show AUTO DRIVER GOB OVER EMBAMNENT Portland, Ore., Jan. 4. A touring car occupied only by the driver, apparently ap-parently a garage helper, backed off a sixty-foot embankment in this city early today. The driver was found dead on the Oregon-Washington Railroad Rail-road & Navigation company's tracks at the foot of the embankment The car was practically demolished. From appearances the man had run into a dead-end of a street, and was endeavoring to turn his machine about when he got over the edge of the bank. The driver's name is not yet known. on |
