Captain Hair returned yesterday yester-day from BoIsp and announced that the complete change will go Into effect ef-fect today. With tho new annexation t,hc local United StatOB land office will cover the entire states of Utnh and Idaho, from tho southern boundary of tho Yellowstone National park to tho Grand canyon In southern Utuh. Tho local Inspectors will now have to keep tabulation on all mineral, coal and agricultural ontrlos throughout tho new division, to noo that tho homo-Steadors homo-Steadors or purchasers comply with tho laws. Tho change means six now employes for tho local office. All the furniture and fixtures of the Idnho oflice hnve heon transferred to tho local department aud will supplant tho furnishings that havo been used here, which nro old and shabby. The only change In the personnel of the Utah-Idaho field service through tho chango is the dropping of Clinton H Hartson, former chief of tho Idaho di-Islon, di-Islon, who resigned to cntor the law practice at Boise oo |
