This proposed route to Jar-Mdge Jar-Mdge Is south of Elko to North Fork and over the old wagon road to Charleston, thus eliminating the high hills and heavy grades that occur on the road past Gold creek. From here to Jarbidgc by tho way of Deeth is ninety miles nnd by this road It is but seventy milos. This will moan that Jarbldge will be reached on the othor end bj the means of the new road from Charleston to Jarbldgo, which Is about tlnlshed. Mr. Willis says that this road will take but a short time to put It in excellent shape and that 1 It will be below the line of heavy t snows, which will give It advantages j over all other road,s that lead Into I the camp. From the Twin Falls side a good road Is being pushed This cut-off I possesses tho steepest grade of any ' place on the highway between Twin Falls and Jarbldge. The grado at ono point Is 20 per cent and the rost of it about 22 por cent. It will make one-easy one-easy grado Into Jarbldge from Twin Falls at 9 per cent. j The cut-off.
