Show SENATORS INTERESTED They Desire to Watch Witnesses at the : Lorimer Hearings Washington, July 4. Many senators not engaged in the Inquiry have expressed ex-pressed a desire to observe the demeanor de-meanor of witnesses before the senate sen-ate committee charged with the investigation inves-tigation of the election of William Lorimer to the United States senate. Their desire to watch the witnesses, particularly the bribe takers, who are expected to be examined after the committee reconvened, nine days from now, is with a view to informing themselves In connection with the i case when it comes to a vote la the senate. So great promises to be the attendance of these outside senators that a large hearing room will bo procured, pro-cured, if possible, for the committee's sessions to replace tho present cramped cramp-ed quarters. John H. Marble and J. J. Heal', attorneys at-torneys for the committee, taking advantage ad-vantage of the recess, are searching for new evidence. Hundreds of letters let-ters have been received "by the committee com-mittee suggesting new lines of evidence, evi-dence, commenting on the character of witnesses already heard by the committee and giving advice generally. general-ly.
