Show I IN THE WAKE OF DEATH. This influenza epidemic is as distressing dis-tressing as our experience in war. Here in Ogden families have been almost toi-n asunder. There arc cases of children chil-dren deprived of father and mother, and of a mother being robbed of husband hus-band and children. Buf. fortunately the epidemic Is being be-ing brought under control and soon the plague will pass. Still, as a community, wo have a big work to perform. Tho forsaken children, chil-dren, tho bereaved mothers, tho help-' help-' less Invalids must have attention and tho organizations and societies which are seeing to it that a kindly hand is extended, must be sustained by all of us. This is an imperative duty. |
