Mrs. Carl Allison entertained the S. S. club at her home, at S23 Twenty-third street, Tuesday afternoon. The afternoon wis pleasantly spent In playing high five, of which thero were six tables. The young people of the Methodist Episcopal church have been practicing j faithfully for several weeks on the I ! entertainment. "The Deestrick Skule," I and will give it in tbe parlors of the I church Thursday and Friday, March 10 and 11. This will be a rare treat to see a royal entertainment. It is full of humor and fun from beginning to end It is one of those entertainments entertain-ments that, having heard once, they wish to hear it again. There is a cast of about thirty, and tbey promise those who come a good time. Mr. A. E. Gumaer has directed the practice and will take the part of the Master. A full list of the characters will appear ap-pear later. MISSIONARY SOCIETY.
