Show New Bishop Sustained At Clarkston CLARKSTON Ward conference was held in Clarkston on Sunday, with President A. Reed Halverson and Brother Hillyard of Smith-field Smith-field as visitors. The Bishopric consisting of Bishop Seymour Thompson, J. Byron By-ron Ravsten and Byron Loosle were released. J. Byron Ravsten was sustained as bishop with Joseph Jo-seph P. Malmberg and Hillard Archibald as counselors and Joseph I. Griffin as ward clerk. Reports of the priesthood quorums quor-ums were given by Bishop John Ravsten, George Myler, Hillard Archibald and John Heggle. Music Mu-sic was furnished by the ward choir with Mrs. Eunice Ravsten directing and Bessie Griffin and Leah Ravsten as organists. Mrs. H. W. Fern was hostess, to the members of her bridge club Friday afternoon at her home, i Mrs. Adrain V. Toolson and Mrs. j Douglass Hooper were invited , guests. High score prize was won j by Mrs. Adrain V. Toolson. Lunch- j eon was served by the hostess to: 12 ladies.
