Show mm Henry James Talbot j Henry James Talbot, 82, prom- J inent Lewiston farmer and church worker, died Thursday evening at his home after a long illness. He was born March 29, 1862 in Kaysville, a son of Henry James and Livinia Wall Talbot. He had lived in Lewiston since the spring of 1879. : Active as a church member, he served in the Northwestern states mission from 1900-02; was superintendent super-intendent of the Lewiston Sunday school, and choir treasurer. At the time of his death he was a high priest. Mr. Talbot had been a successful success-ful farmer throughout his life. He married Susannah -'. Cherry, . April 22, 1891 in the Logan temple. tem-ple. Survivors include his widow and the following sons and daughters: Mrs. Millie Rawlins, Hyrum H. Talbot and Mrs. Gene- , vieve Facer of Lewiston; Mrs. Bessie Hendricks and Mrs. Rosalie I Schiffman, Logan; Arnel J. Tal-1 bot, Long Beach, Calif., and Cap- tain Wilburn C. Talbot, serving with the U. S. army, Atlantic City, N. J.; 19 grandchildren, one great-grandchild and three brothers broth-ers and sisters: Robert W. Talbot, Lewiston; Mrs. Livinia Jones, Preston, Idaho and Mrs. Olive Stevenson, North Hollywood, Cal. j ! |
