Show Cache Prepares For Runoff Election Tuesday Cache county officials Friday began preparations for the October Octo-ber 6 runoff election, predicting that not more' than 1500 to 1800 of the 13,956 registered voters in the county will cast ballots in the test. N. J. Crookston, county clerk, distributed election materials to iudges in the south end of the county Thursday and will complete com-plete distribution today. He predicted a light vote, reminding re-minding that only 2800 voters cast ballots in the primary election. Only contests will be on the democratic ticket. Clarence E. Baker Ba-ker and David W. Moffat, seeking nomination for justice of the supreme su-preme court, will be the only state candidates. Louis P. Maughan op-i op-i poses Leo C. Nielsen for a four-year four-year county commission post, and I Parley A. Resee and William Wor- ley will compete for the two-year commissioner nomination. With few exceptions, the same judges who handled the primary election will be on duty in the runoff, run-off, Mr. Crookston said. |
