Johnson, 34, was sworn in Friday as the new Park City postmaster, relieving Oreste Frazzini of his off icer-in-charge position. Frazzini had taken over the supervision of the post office seven months ago from Jack Green. Johnson was chosen by the Postal Service from 29 applicants for the job. His experience with the Postal Service extends back to 1967 when he started as a carrier in Layton, Utah. Prior to his Park City ap Sunn To Move Distribution System To SLC Charles E. He and his wife Susan have five children. r Poster Contest And Workshop Are Priorities The Park City Arts Coun cil met February 21 at the Kimball Art Center and outlined two top priorities for a grant application for community arts programs. Local historian Patricia Smith commented that a $2,000 matching fund grant is being sought through the Utah Arts Council by local resident and Park City Arts Council President Greer Markle. Markle currently is employed by the Utah Arts Council. Ms. Smith said the council discussed a Park City poster contest as one grant application ap-plication priority. The contest con-test would be an invitational competition for local artists and artists involved in Park City programs. There would be a cash prize for the winner win-ner and the production of the original work for retail sales. Money made from the sale of the posters would benefit future projects of the arts council. Ms. Smith said the Community Development Develop-ment fund grant would be prepared by March 1, with the poster production IS SCOTT USA scheduled before summer. Ms. Smith said the workshop would feature guest seminar leaders, well-known well-known in their craft, to conduct con-duct a three-day session.
