1 he gave it the same careful attention he had given railroad business and as a result was in two years able to take over his partners interest while he has never held a public office and only the next city recorder came to utah in 1909 from the offices of the colorado fuel iron company where he had worked up from the position of office boy to chief clerk at several of the most important of utah mr williams has been an operator for the past six years and came to price from fruita colo where he made the same kind of a flattering record he has made in this city honest sober and painstaking in his work sammy williams will make an excellent treasurer FRANK GROSSO who wab wah nominated for the four year term on the council is one of the best citizens of price and will lend strength to the ticket although born in a foreign land he is as good an american as any of us and he is entitled to credit for having absorbed so much of the american spirit as he lie possesses coming to utah fifteen years ago he began life in in a new land as a minar at sunnyside Sunny side and later followed the same calling at castle gate with commendable thrift he be saw to it that his expenses were always less than his earnings and in time he had saved a little money with his brother joe he opened a store at helper and built up a successful business six yean year ago believing that price offered a better field for merchandising he moved to this city and arid opened the garden store which he conducted for almost four years in the meanwhile he had accumulated considerable leal estate and retired from the store to look after his other interest he is part owner of the three buildings as the golden rule block and owns considerable other property in the city when nobody else would put up a postoffice post office building for the rents uncle sam is willing to pay mr grosso and his friend fred larcher came to the rescue and as i i result price now has a commodious and comfortable for postoffice post office building not a man in the county can say a truthful word against ainest frank frantz grossos hones honesty or ability and he stands in the front ranks if elected frank grosso among ethree th candidates for the two year term on the cb council uncil is a native son having been born in washington county this state fifteen years ago he moved to emery county where he resided for five years coming to price ten years ago while he has never held a public office he has had considerable business experience and is at present manager of the price auto stage company s business is strictly a home grawn article having been born in washington utah when he was but a boy his parents moved to emery county where oliver resided until 1902 when the family moved to price his first
