Utah. He was born May 24. 1913 in Levan, Utah, to Charles Alfred and Persia Hughgene Rudd survived by his five children, UVSC Pow Wow ren) Callaway, Robert (Beverly), and Kathryn, all of Nephi. The family moved to Orem in 1948 where Dad graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950. He married his high school sweetheart, Eunice Nuttall, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 26, 1951. Eunice preceded him in death in 1994. He later married Evelyn Muir Miles, a friend he had not seen since their early school days in Duchesne. Dad has been a member of the Utah Firemans Associa- tion for 42 years and served on the Mapleton Fire Department for most of those years. Dad served as Elders Quorum president, was a counselor under three consecutive bishops for 1 1 years, and was then Bishop for the Maple-to2nd ward for five years. He then served as a Stake High Councilman for many years. Dads name is almost synonymous with Bennion Creek. He worked hundreds of hours in the development of the campground. Dad loved the outdoors, he n their patience and vaccine shortage. While there were long lines and fighting in other parts of the country, we have seen people voluntarily pa.s up their fiu shot for their older or sicker neighbor," adds Resendes.
