Show During the past week, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wood had as guests, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wood-al- l and famly, Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Anderson and son of Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Dean Wood of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Anderson's sister, Genieve also of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Bess of Salt Lake City visited during the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Aagard. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Winter recently took a weeks trip to Montana, Yellowstone and Star Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Dalby and childre nof Salt Lake City visited over the week end with his mother, Mrs. Audrey Dalby. Mrs. Charles Brower of Salt Lake City is visiting with her mother, Mrs. Audrey Dalby. VENICE THEATRE Mr. and Mrs. Dean Howard have returned to their home in Mills after spending two months in Ashton, Idaho where Mr. Howard has been employed by the U. S. Forest Service. They returned by way of Grays Lake where they spent some time with their son in law and daughter and family. Miss Alice Chiardia returned home with them after spending a month Mr. and Mrs. Ostler at Lake. This contract was re cently awarded the Corporation by the United States Office of Education and calls for greatly accelerating the reading and mathematics skills of the stud ents selected to participate in the project. Mr. Dalby will direct and administer the entire project in Seattle. Prior to his acceptance of this new position, Mr. Dalby was employed by Thiokol Corporation in its Clearfield Division as supervisor of the ad vanced programs at the Clearfield Job Corps center. Juab County was well represented in the contests and events memby a team of seven bers: Randy Carter, Scott Tolley, Dale Jackson, Gary Jarrett, Hal Carter, Larry Ingram and Tod Tolley. Of the six events in the show, the Juab County placed first in two: Fitting and Showmanship, and the Western Trail Class. Other events included a written test, western horsmanship, barrell race, and pole bending. Brooks and Deanna Taylor were in charge of the Juab County Team.
