It was a new ex perience for Claude, but he is accustomed to new experiences. Very proudly he said "hello" to the folks back home and started telling his listeners about that which he knows most power farming from a farm boy's viewpoint. In boyish words and sentences. Claude told how he and his younger brother. Dale, helped "Dad", J. M. Shoffner, on their 600 acre wheat farm. They have two four-plosize tractors and a combine. When harvest time comes, Mr. Shoffner starts out with one tractor and the combine while Claude uses the other and begins plowing immediately' to conserve soil moisture.
