Show THE TIMES-NEW- NEPHI, UTAH. S, RESOLUTIONS OF ItKSPKCT , Whereas, one or our "most highly respected fellow associates of the bar of the Fifth Judicial District, was taken from this sphere of action on the 16th day of May, 1921, and Whereas, we, hs brothers and fellow members of the bar, feel that itj is proper and fitting that we should at this time show our proper respect for this honored member of the bar and his family, and that we should make a record of our feelings. Therefore be it resolved: Th'at we look upon the death of Edmond H. Ryan as a great and lasting loss, ntt only to those who were associated with him in the honorable profession which he had chosen, but that his demise is also a great loss to the members of the community in waich he lived, and of which he was always an active and willing member. We recognized in our deceased brother one whoe 'integrity was reproach, whose honor was undented, whose justice was unimpeachable, and. whose life was unsullied and. one worthy of emulation. For more than twenty years he has been an active and leading member of the. bar, for eight years of that time he served this District as District Attorney and made a splendid record; for years he has served his county with fidelity and ability as County Attorney, and. during his entire career he, has served the community where he lived, as a worthy adviser. During tae entire period of the World's War he was 'ever active, wil ling, industrious, alert and untiring in his efforts to help his country and the community where he dived. He was an able and faithful advo cate of the rights of his clients, but he was always fair and just to his opponents. As a husband and father he was amiable, pleasant and agreeable and ever had the highest sense of honor and purity, and through his sufferings he was patient and kind and the waole circle of his many friends will mourn hs departure. Be it further resolved, that these resolutions be made a matter of re cord in the Counties composing the Fifth Judicial District, and that a copy be sent to his family, and also to the newspapers of the districts for publication. Respectully Submitted, O. A. Mur-docWilliam B. Higgins, Joseph H. McKnight, Charles T. Woodbury, D. H. Morris, John M. Foster, Committee On motion of O .A. Murdock, in behalf of the committee, the foregoing resolutions were adopted, and the Court made an order that they be made a matter of record. , Our Business e is to furnish our customers with the best brands of everything that is good to eat. ...
