JoDee Baxter had a double and Stephanie Boyd had 2 doubles in the game. Boyd went 3 for 4 from the plate. The Lady Wasps will travel to South Sevier today to play the Rams. On Friday, they will go to Grantsville. The Interagency Task Force also presented $400 to the Grand Prize Winner. ; The Utah State History Fair was presented by the Utah History Fair and the Department of History at Drigham Young University. The Utah History Fair is a program of the Mountain West Center for Regional Studies at Utah State University. It is funded by the Utah Division of State History, the Utah Humanities Council, the Wells Fargo Bank Foundation, and Brigham Young University. , The State History Fair was held April 16 at Brigham Young University. Students from across the state in grades 2 presented history research projects, competing for the opportunity to advance to the National History 8 at the Day contest, June of University Maryland. Winners were announced at the close of the day, and those receiving 1st and 2nd place awards were invited to the national competition. Migration in History was the theme for this years event. Students competed in four different categories: historical papers, exhibits, performances, and media presentations. They were encouraged to reflect on the movement of people, ideas, and culture around the world. Special cash .awards for the best exhibits and papers dealing with Western History were given by the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University.
