Mr. Christensen died Monday at 6:45 p.m. after a heart at- Saturday at st tack. Mr. Christensen was bom May 17, 1896 at Jerusaleum, to Sanpete County, Utah, Lauritz and Caroline Christensen Christensen. He married Marguerite Bywater April 10, 1920 at Reno, Nevada, and the marriage later was solemnized in the Manti Temple. He was a farmer, residing at Moroni most of his adult life. (Surviving are one daughter and three sons:Mrs. Madge C. Otteson of Nephi; Thurlyn R. Christensen, Kearns; Stewart E. Christensen, Hunter, Utah, and Lauritz L. Christensen, Salt Lake City. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, a sister and a brother: Mrs. Celia Richie of Moroni and Ezra Christensen of Ogden. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home at Nephi, and at the Moroni East-WeWard Chapel for one hour prior to the services on Saturday. st Services Held Monday Father of Nephi Lady Funeral services were held Monday at Fountain Green for Richard Alfred Pearmain, 78, father of Mrs. Harold (Louise) Parkin of Nephi. n Mr. died Thursday at Fountain Green following a heart attack. Mr. Pearmain was born October 18, 1887, at Fountain Green, a son of William and Sarah Ann Gould Pearmain. He married Hannah C. Olsen at the Manti Temple March 3, 1915. He was a musician and served as a member of the Wool City and for many years. He was Fountain Green City Marshal, and formerly was a city councilman. He was a high priest in the LDS Church. Surviving are his widow of Fountain Green; one son and two daughters: Arthur R. Pearmain of Salt Lake City; Edna C. Pearmain, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Parkin, Nephi. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, nine greatgrandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Florence Coombs of Salt Lake City. Mr. Tenney is a senior at Brigham Young University, majoring in political science. He served a mission in Chili, and presently i3 teaching Spanish at the language training mission in Provo. The couple plan a September 6th wedding at the Manti LDS Temple. A reception will be held that evening at the Levan Ward cultural hall. The parents of the groom will further honor the couple with a reception to be held in the Prescott Ward chapel on September 8th. He married Wilma Allen May 18, 1938 at the Manti LDS Temple, and had lived in California since 1940, where he was an employee of Safeway stores. He served in th military service during World War H. Porter Company, Inc., according to an announcement made this week by C. A Albertson, works manager. Mr. Tolley has been with the Company since April 1948, holding various positions in the Laboratory. In his new position, he will be responsible for all the activities in the Laboratory, including research and development of new products, and application development for patents, and the general responsibilities within the Laboratory area. He is a graduate of Juab High School at Nephi, and attended Snow College. His appointment to this position became effective August 1, Mr Albertson said. Arthur Gadd October 6, 1897, at Nephi, the marriage later being solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Mrs. Gadd had resided the majority of her lifetime in Nephi, with several years spent in the Salt Lake City area. The family returned to Nephi in 1921. Mr. Gadd died February 17, 1935. Mrs. Gadd was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and had been active in the Relief Society of the LDS Church. She is survived by one son and two daughters: Fred L. Gadd, Mrs. Helen Lee and Mlrs. Margaret White, all of Nephi. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and four great grand children. Burial at Vine Bluff cemetery was directed by Anderson Funeral Home. New Coach Calls first Football Activity Juab High Schools 1966 football activity will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday. The season will be kicked off with a meet the coach hot dog and pop party on the football fiell. After thi3 event, football suits will be issued. It is very important, according to Coach Dennis Hansen, that all prospective players of the 10th, 11th and 12th grades be in attendance. At this time, practice sessions will be scheduled.
