There were nearly 500 entries including unusual Christinas trees, fresh and dried wreaths, table settings for Christinas parlies, arrangements for the mantle, hall table, bedroom, kitchen. This year the arrangements will depict Christmas around the world, including India, New Zealand where flowers instead of snow depict Christmas; Serbia where fruits are used; Armenia, France, Norway, Sweden, and Ireland. In the table setting section a Christmas Luau is planned There will be one section devoted to Christmas ideas which will be for display only and not judged along with the flower show. These will include gift wrappings, hand made decorations. KUER Radio Station Has Tower r '. A new tower for the Univcr-- j sity of Utah FM radio station, KUER, has been placed on top of Mount Vision, west of Salt Lake City. Transmitting power was increased to 1.107 from 350 watts, which will enable the station to cover the metropolitan centers in Utah. The change was made under r, the supervision of H. W. and Don E. Smith. KUER will broadcast sixty hours a week. It is staffed by thirty members of Univcrsily Broadcasters, a student group headed by Gordon Johnson, son of Mr & Mrs Morris C.
