Harmon has been named as a director of Mountain Fuel Supply Company. He will replace J. T. Simon, who retired from the board, August 1, 1976. "We have been talking about this for years, explained Robert E. Wells, a proponent and former senior officer of First National City Bank of New York. He is presently Director of Purchasing, World Wide, for the Mormon Church. The major proponent and proposed president of the bank is F. Edw'ard Pedersen, presently president of the chain, State Hardware Stores. Pedersen, a native of Idaho, served on the board of directors of American National Bank for eight years until the bank was acquired by Bank& Trust in 1972. On that board he served on the loan, advertising and auditing committees. Other proponents are Wilford W. Kirton, Jr., atTracy-Col-li- torney, Milton ns L. Weilenmann, director of development services for the state, John S. Marshall and C. Reuel Ware of Photo-Blue. Merchant Bank Wells explained the men intend the new bank to be a merchant bank, offering services to industries moving into the state. "We intend to offer a range of services to the business community and to the public that no other he bank presently offers, said. Wells experience with the New York bank has given him expertise in developing an international clientele, he said.
