The long overdue expansion for Wallace means a $100,000 investment in a computer system which will analyze market conditions, tenant turnover and buying and selling trends in real estate. It also means the addition of three new research and market analysts and two MBA in- terns. These new members of the firm, combined with the computer capabilities, will greatly increase our manage- Shearer ment efficiency, Joining the staff are Peter Burke, computer analyst in charge of programming the firms new equipment; Elena Johnson, research analyst specializing in regulatory and legislative aspects of real es- tate development and investment; and Richard Richmond, a certifiied public accountant who will handle real estate acquisitions, analysis and The mechanical wizard Wallace Associates new computer is quite the package. Aside from the usual accounting and payroll tasks, the company expects the computer will assist the real estate management firm with its investment decisions and perform calculations which could help pinpoint variables crucial to high performance in the real estate field. Peter Burke, the man Wallace brought on board to design programs for the new Data General Super Nova, explained some of the programs. Probably the most important program we have, from the real estate end, is the property investment analysis program. And, he said, Wallace and Associates wont have to turn down as many clients. The two interns joining Wallace are Tim Dee, an MBA graduate from the University of Utah, and D.R. Gardner, an MBAlaw student at Brigham Young University, Peter Burke erty, and loan information.
